This look into Lust is unnerving because it feels true: I absolutely can see her feeling this way, can see her standing over her prey, eyes dilated at the smell of adrenaline and blood. She's very predatory, and this seems the natural step for her.
But what makes this piece so interesting for me is not just the horror of exploring Lust, but the sweet-naturedness of Jean. He is an adorable, caring goof, and even someone as inhuman as Lust can't help but notice that. This piece actually makes me feel glad she only did what she did in canon (as opposed to getting her wish and painting herself in his essence).
Jean, dude, you really have shit luck with the ladies. ♥ Very well done!
