I've seen fun fanon interpretations of the canon fact that Primo to Nono are all INSIDE the Sky Ring despite Nono being very much alive. XDD
firstly, that it's kind of almost geas/curse-like that you're ... erm, once a ring-bearer, always a ringbearer - with a parallel to the lotr ringwraiths. XDDD
i suppose the vongola bosses all must kill time in the ring with cardgames or sth if they're not that aware of happennings outside without an inheritance ceremony inducting new 'prisoners'. XDDD
Even MOAR fun if the ring-spirits can't communicate from ring to ring without manifesting outside.
And of course, canon Daemon who's ... not only got a n 'echo' inside the ring, but also with his ghost out there during Shimon Arc .... haha, bad things waiting to happen indeed.
.... I think my point was that, I totally went ppbblt when I read this chinese fan thread on Tsuna pairing wars that Giotto pretty much has the last laugh because as long as the rings ain't destroyed, Tsuna's afterlife is pretty much ... erm, in there. XDDD
