Haha! I have complete sympathy for your powerless Dresden re-read. The rec took about 5 times longer to write than it should have because I kept getting sidetracked by rereading. XD
Ahhh, the short stories! Did you ever read Backup? And I'm so scared for the Murphy POV story, so scared. ;_; Something tells me it'll make the evil cliffhanger even more evil.
Oh, Marcone. He's just part of a troubling trend, with me. If there's a ruthless, machiavellian, morally ambiguous character...I WILL LOVE THAT CHARACTER. It's worrying. At least Marcone has a lot of redeeming qualities, which is more than I can say for some of my other most beloved characters. ^_^;
He's so awesome, though. Calm, cool, collected. Ride of the Valkyries! No, by the end of Fool Moon, I was doomed. :D
